As Waggener Edstrom Worldwide’s president of Global Regions, Claire Lematta ensures that each of the agency’s regions works closely together to attract and develop world-class talent, and to set the standard for customer service and mutually beneficial long-term client relationships.

WE employees are encouraged to view themselves as citizens of the world, but Claire truly lives this affirmation in her day-to-day work. She oversees the agency’s European and Asian business expansion and the Global Alliance network, and is directly charged with extending the agency’s geographic reach and services — all in addition to leading the North American team.

While Claire spends most of her time and energy working with agency leaders in each of our regions and practices, she also maintains overall accountability for our Global People Services team.

Before taking on her current role in 2010, Claire directed the agency’s European operations from 2002 to 2007, and she was named president of the agency’s European presence in January 2006. Under her stewardship, the agency’s profile in Western Europe grew steadily, with revenues increasing threefold in five years.

Since 1987, Claire has successfully guided clients and colleagues through numerous company campaigns, initiatives, events and product launches. Her achievements include helping to orchestrate the award-winning launch of Microsoft Windows 95 and driving cover and signature stories in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Fortune Magazine and Forbes Magazine.
