Top 10 Craziest SXSWi Sessions in 2013

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, nerds of all ages, we present to you the third annual list of the 10 craziest SXSWi sessions.

Once again, I need to make a disclaimer that we have no method behind this madness. It is just madness. A crack team went through the list of all panels (there are so many, by the way) and picked the 10 that made us laugh.

Apps of the Future: Instagram for Cyborgs: Since cyborgs don’t eat, what exactly would they take pictures of?

Your TV Knows Who You’ve Slept With: Um. This could get real weird real fast.

Hey, Where’s My Robot Girlfriend?: Yeah, and my flying car. And my hover board. Promises have been made!

Alcoholic Designs Organization, Shenanigans Ensue: Well, duh…

How to Be Interesting: If you need to attend this panel, you are doing it wrong.

Tweets from the DMZ: Social Media in North Korea: You want to know the crazy part? They are taking Instagram photos of their food just like everyone else (expect the cyborgs).

I Overthrew My Government… Now What?: That is a very good question….

What Can We Learn from the Unabomber?: I can save you an hour — nothing. Please don’t learn anything from the Unabomber. Thanks very much, the ENTIRE WORLD.

How to Handle Suicidal Users Without Freaking Out: Again, I will save you the hour – freak out. Freaking out seems to be the appropriate response.

Fresh Prince + Downton Abbey: A Perfect Engagement: I didn’t realize it until now, but Geoffrey and Carson would probably have a lot to talk about. A note to Julian Fellows: In the series finale of “Downton Abbey,” Carson should somehow be Geoffrey’s great-grandfather.

Looking forward to SXSWi this year. Will we see you at any of these sessions?
